* ALOK INDUSTRIES: Has executed an agreement with ECL Finance for interim financing for an amount of up to 1.50 bln rupees.

* BAJAJ AUTO: Total sales in September were up 14% on year at 428,752 units, the highest monthly sales ever by the company.

* BASF INDIA: Has received 1.98 bln rupees from Stahl India for sale of its leather chemicals business.

* COCHIN SHIPYARD: Is drawing up huge expansion plans, including one of foray into inland water transport.

* DLF: GIC has approached the Competition Commission of India to seek approval for its deal to acquire stake in the company's rental arm and form joint venture with the real estate firm.

 * HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT CORP: Shareholders of the company have approved raising up to 120 bln rupees through bonds in one or more tranches.

 * IDEA CELLULAR: Vodafone India and the company's merger deal is expected to be completed by
March next year.

* JAGRAN PRAKASHAN: HDFC Mutual Fund has bought 22.1 mln shares, or 2.08% stake, of the company in an open market sale on Thursday.

* JUBILANT LIFE SCIENCES: Through its step-down subsidiary, has received an approval from Health Canada for its healthcare equipment, RUBY elution system and proprietary RUBY consumable accessories.

* LARSEN & TOUBRO INFOTECH: The board of its South Africa-based joint venture has approved a transfer of 25.1% stake held by Befula Investments in it to Rossex Investments.

* KAMDHENU: The company, along with franchisees, will invest 8 bln rupees to double production
capacity in next five years, said Managing Director Satish Agarwal.

* LUPIN: Has got final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for doxycycline hyclate
tablets USP in 75 mg and 150 mg strength.

* MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA: Has launched ECSTAR, Suzuki's global brand of lubricants, coolant and car care products in India. The company's total automobile sales rose just 9.3% on year to 163,071 units in September, because of fall in sales of mini cars and sedan Ciaz.

 * MMTC: Has initiated dialogue with NMDC for exports of the commodity to South Korea and Japan.

* OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORP: Has received green clearance for the 4.56-bln-rupee exploratory drilling project in Sivasagar district of Assam, a document showed. Directorate General of Hydrocarbons has refused to review the commerciality of India's deepest gas discovery made by the company on grounds that developing the find poses technological challenges.

* PENINSULA LAND: Entered into an agreement to sell its land in Mamurdi village near Pune for 2.3 bln rupees.

* PHOENIX MILLS: Has bought remaining 6.07% stake in its subsidiary Offbeat Developers for 340 mln rupees.

* POWER GRID CORP OF INDIA: Has entered into a term loan agreement with ICICI BANK for a 32.70- bln-rupee loan.

* RELIANCE COMMUNICATIONS: Has called off its merger talks with Aircel, in a major blow to the company's plans to consolidate operations and reduce debt. The company is preparing to monetise assets ranging from spectrum to real estate as it strives to repay debt owed to banks. The company's tower deal with Canada's Brookfield is off in its present form, and is being reviewed.

* RELIANCE INFRASTRUCTURE: Greenko has sought to acquire the company's flagship Mumbai
electricity business for an enterprise value of $2.15 bln.

* S H KELKAR AND CO: Subsidiary, Keva Fragrances, has entered into a share purchase agreement for acquisition of VN Creative Chemicals.

* SPICEJET: Has concluded a purchase agreement with Bombardier Commercial Aircraft for up to 50 Q400 turbopop airliners for a total of $1.7 bln.

 * SUPREME TEX MART: The National Company Law Tribunal has admitted Allahabad Bank's
application under insolvency and bankruptcy code against the company.

 * TATA GLOBAL BEVERAGES: Tata Starbucks, owned by the company and Starbucks Corp, clocked net sales of 2.72 bln rupees, a growth of 14%, during the year ended March 2017 and narrowed losses to 320 mln rupees.

* TATA MOTORS: Has surpassed MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA to win a tender to supply 10,000 electric vehicles to state-owned Energy Efficiency Services. The company sold 53,965 vehicles in September, up 25% on year. Will manufacture compact sedan Tigor with electric powertrain at its Sanand plant in Gujarat.

* TECH MAHINDRA: In association with Power Ledger, the company has announced a series of
technology trials aimed at developing a blockchain-based microgrid-as-a-service solution.

* UFLEX: Is aiming at 90 bln rupees turnover in the next three years, a growth of nearly 40% over the previous fiscal, led by robust domestic business.

* URJA GLOBAL: Has got a letter of award from Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency for supply, installation and commissioning for 1,000 KW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic power plants in Jammu & Kashmir.

* YES BANK: Has raised 25 bln rupees through the issuance of Basel-III compliant, tier-II bonds, the lender said in an exchange filing
