Pre Session: Sensex, Nifty seen opening lower on weak global cues; IndiGo shares in focus

Indian benchmark indices are likely to open in negative terrain on Thursday, tracking bearish trend in Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and weak trend across the global markets. Overseas, Asian stocks were trading mostly lower as investors weighed the US Federal indication for more rate hikes this year. In the overnight trade, Wall Street ended lower as caution prevailed in the market ahead of much awaited Sino-US trade talks, while investors digested the latest policy comments from the Federal Reserve. Back home, weak trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for May delivery, which was trading at 10,713.00, down 44.00 points.
