Indian benchmark indices are likely to open higher on Monday, tracking firm cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and positive cues from global peers. Overseas, markets across Asia were trading higher after Wall Street ended at record high on Friday as robust economic growth and falling inflation boosted the appetite for risker-assets. Back home, bullish trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for January delivery, which were trading at 10,625.00, up by 44.50 points.
