The key domestic benchmark indices continued to trade on flat to positive note during the noon trading session tracking weak cues from Asian markets, ahead of the expiry of December series futures and options contracts.
At 12:18 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 26254.81 up by 44.13 points or by 0.17 per cent, while the NSE Nifty was at 8050.15 up by 15.3 points or by 0.19 per cent.
In the choppy trade so-far, Sensex touched intraday high of 26429.63 and intraday low of 26166.67, while the NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 8060.55 and intraday low of 8020.8. The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2342.60,+1.16%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 818.25,+0.94%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 191.35,+0.87%), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 1245.85,+0.72%), Wipro Ltd. (Rs. 472.50,+0.67%), among others.
The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 264.25,-1.42%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 616.05,-0.89%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 1342.75,-0.58%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 234.20,-0.49%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. (Rs. 3055.60,-0.49%), among others.
