Pre-Session: Flat start on cards for domestic indices

Indian benchmarks are expected to start the day on flat note on Friday. In the absence of any key domestic trigger, investors will eye global cues and stock-specific action for market direction today.

Market participants will also track the rupee's movement against the US dollar, foreign fund flow, and the oil price movement for further cues.

On Thursday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 41673.92 up by 115.35 points or by 0.28 % and then NSE Nifty was at 12259.7 up by 38.05 points.
