Indian benchmark indices are likely to open on positive note on Friday, tracking firm cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and mixed trend across global peers. Markets across Asia were trading higher undermining weak cues from Wall Street which ended lower in overnight trade amid concerns about the progress of US tax reform. Back home, firm trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for December delivery, which were trading at 10,360.50, up by 72 points.
