* ADANI TRANSMISSION: Is gearing up to raise fresh equity capital of around 30 bln rupees through a qualified institutional placement.

* ALEMBIC PHARMACEUTICALS: Has sold its formulations manufacturing facility located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on a slump-sale basis to Scott Edil Pharmacia.

* BRITANNIA INDUSTRIES: Plans to invest 1 bln rupees for refurbishing its creams portfolio where it has brands like Treat, Bourbon and Pure Magic.
